Abstracts should normally be between 200 and 250 words and should clearly state the background, objective, methodology, key findings or expected outcomes, and relevance of the work to the conference theme.

Abstract submissions do not require double-blind formatting unless otherwise instructed by the conference committee.

Full papers must be prepared using the ICEST 2027 manuscript template or the template provided through the conference website.

• The manuscript must be written in English.
• The work must be original and unpublished.
• The manuscript must follow the required conference format.
• Figures, tables, references, and citations must be complete and accurate.

Full papers submitted for review must be anonymized for double-blind peer review.

• Remove author names.
• Remove institutional affiliations.
• Remove acknowledgements.
• Remove other identifying information.
• Refer to your own previous work in the third person where necessary.

Full papers will normally be evaluated by three independent reviewers based on originality, relevance, technical quality, contribution, clarity, methodology, and overall presentation.

All submissions must report original work and must not be under consideration elsewhere.

• Plagiarism and self-plagiarism are prohibited.
• Duplicate submission is prohibited.
• Fabrication and falsification of data are prohibited.
• Full papers may be checked using similarity detection software.

Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to use copyrighted figures, tables, images, datasets, diagrams, or substantial text extracts included in their submission.

After acceptance, authors must submit a revised final version that addresses reviewer comments and editorial requirements.

• Restore author names and affiliations.
• Include acknowledgements where applicable.
• Address all required reviewer corrections.
• Follow the final proceedings or publisher template if required.
• Complete copyright, consent, or licence documentation if required.

Accepted abstracts and papers must be presented at ICEST 2027 by at least one registered author. Presentation is required for final inclusion in conference records or publication consideration.
