Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit abstracts and/or full papers to the International Conference on Innovations in Engineering, Science and Technology for Sustainable Development 2027 (ICEST 2027). All submissions must be written in English and must be relevant to the conference theme, scope, and tracks.

ICEST 2027 is currently finalizing its publication and proceedings arrangements. Therefore, accepted full papers may be considered for inclusion in the conference proceedings or other approved publication outlets, subject to peer review, presentation at the conference, registration requirements, publisher requirements, and final approval by the conference committee.

Submission for Review

All full paper submissions must be prepared using the ICEST 2027 manuscript template or the template provided through the conference website. Authors must follow the formatting and preparation instructions given in the template.

To support a double-blind peer review process, authors submitting full papers must ensure that their identities are not disclosed in the manuscript submitted for review. Authors should remove names, affiliations, acknowledgements, self-identifying references, and any other information that may reveal their identity. When citing their own previous work, authors should refer to it in the third person.

Abstract submissions do not require double-blind formatting unless otherwise instructed by the conference committee.

All submissions must be made through the ICEST 2027 online submission system. Submissions sent by email or through other means may not be considered for review unless specifically approved by the conference committee.

Submission Guidelines

All authors must ensure that the submitted work is original and has not been previously published or submitted elsewhere for consideration.

The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that all co-authors have reviewed and approved the final version of the submission and have agreed to its submission to ICEST 2027.

Any copyrighted material included in the submission, such as figures, tables, images, datasets, diagrams, or substantial text extracts, must be used only with the permission of the copyright holder.

All submitted papers must be related to the conference theme and relevant conference tracks. Accepted papers must be presented at the conference by at least one author.

Full papers will undergo double-blind peer review by two or more reviewers. Submissions will be evaluated based on originality, technical quality, research depth, relevance to the conference, contribution to the field, clarity, structure, and readability.

The conference committee reserves the right to desk reject submissions that do not meet the minimum academic, technical, ethical, formatting, or relevance requirements of ICEST 2027.

Call for Abstracts

Authors may submit abstracts for presentation consideration. Abstracts should normally be between 200 and 250 words and should clearly state the background, objective, methodology, key findings or expected outcomes, and relevance of the work to the conference theme.

Authors whose abstracts are accepted may later be invited to submit a full paper. If a full paper is submitted after abstract acceptance, authors should upload it under the same submission record unless otherwise instructed by the conference committee.

Camera-Ready Submission

After a full paper is accepted, authors will be required to submit a revised camera-ready version addressing the reviewers’ comments and the editorial requirements of the conference.

The camera-ready version must include all author names, affiliations, email addresses, acknowledgements, and any other information that was removed for the double-blind review process.

Authors may be required to reformat the accepted paper according to the final proceedings or publisher template once the publication arrangement is confirmed.

If required by the final publication outlet, authors must also submit a completed copyright, consent, or license agreement form during the camera-ready submission stage.

Acceptance of a paper for presentation does not automatically guarantee publication. Final publication will depend on compliance with review recommendations, formatting requirements, registration, presentation at the conference, publisher requirements, and final approval by the conference committee.

Originality and Plagiarism

All submissions must report original work and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere.

Plagiarism, self-plagiarism, duplicate submission, data fabrication, falsification, and other forms of academic misconduct are strictly prohibited.

All submitted full papers may be checked using similarity detection software. Submissions with unacceptable similarity or evidence of plagiarism may be rejected at any stage of the review or publication process.
